Don’t wait too long — some classes are very popular, and from Monday 11 May we’ll open registrations to everyone.
NEED HELP WITH YOUR REGISTRATION?
If something goes wrong or you have an urgent question, An and Wenke are ready to help you as quickly as possible with all your registration questions. You can reach them at info@ecdf.be.
NEW OPTION: COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION
We want to make sure that everyone who wants to can take circus classes. That’s why we offer a 30% discount for those entitled to an increased allowance — which can be combined with discounts through your health insurance fund, among others. This year we’re also introducing a community contribution: anyone who wishes can voluntarily add a small amount when paying their registration fee. The money we collect will go towards acrobats who face additional financial barriers.
REGISTERING FOR ACRO-BAD?
Acro-bad classes are technical classes focused on building a solid foundation. We expect dedication and commitment in our Acro-bad!
You can only register if you:
- follow at least 2 classes per week (these can be two Acro-bad classes, or one Acro-bad class combined with an Acro-circus or Specialisation class)
- have discussed this with your trainer, as they are best placed to assess whether you’re ready to take the plunge into Acro-bad.
- Some basic requirements apply for the Monday and Wednesday classes and the new Acro-bad Air class on Thursday.
- The Friday class is specifically for young newcomers to the programme.
In our membership system we’ve set up a quick check to see whether you meet these requirements. Once our pedagogical coordinator approves your Acro-bad registration, you’ll receive a confirmation and a payment request.
NEW INTAKE IN CIRCUSSTROOM
Circusstroom: creation days + tailored class programme
In our Circusstroom, ECDF trainers Therese and Korneel invite acrobats born in 2011, 2012 and 2013 to join a programme of approximately 8 creation days, spread across the circus year from September to May (always on Sundays), a starter weekend and a creation weekend. You also choose 2 classes yourself within your area of interest.
Starter weekend on Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 May 2026
During this weekend, the new Circusstroom participants will get to know each other a little and explore the following questions:
- Who am I within circus?
- What do I enjoy?
- What are my expectations of this programme?
Find all info about the programme here

Save the date for Ell Spectaculo in SPRK
Ell Spectaculo is The event formerly known as De Eindshow! Because at the end of the year it’s time to show everything we’ve learned. Young and old come together on stage to put on a spectacular show. This year again at SPRK during the Whitsun weekend, on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May.
Will you be joining us?
We have 7 spectaculos in total. Each show offers a mix of what happens week after week in our training halls: different ages, different techniques.
Please note! Not all students participate in every show, and students who follow multiple classes may appear in more than one show. Make sure to check the Eindshow line-up on our website carefully!
Tickets will be available from late April/early May. We need a little more time to get our ticketing system ready. You’ll receive an email as soon as they’re available!
AND A FEW IMPORTANT DATES!
- Friday 1 May is Labour Day — no classes.
- From Monday 11 May, new members can also register for next year’s circus classes. Spread the word!
- Thursday 14 May is Ascension Day — a public holiday, so no classes.
- Whit Monday 25 May is Ell Spectaculo — no classes.
- Saturday 30 May is the last class day of the circus year.
- Wednesday 24 June we will celebrate 5 years of SPRK, together with all the organisations active there. It’ll be a lovely afternoon with workshops and demos — do come and have a look!
AND THAT’S IT FOR NOW!
