Springplank students are 18+ and choose to further their orientation from circus. With this program, we challenge our students to take the next step in their circus development.
In doing so, we encourage them to continue studying or working half-time. During their free hours they can work out their personal orientation path within ECDF.
Together with the student, we discuss and evaluate which pathway best suits their personality. The trainers support them as they prepare for auditions or studies at a College For Circus Arts, both physically and mentally. During this trajectory, the Springplanker creates an act in a specific discipline.
Wandering around by yourself for a while
Autonomy is an important pillar within this program. We invite our Springplankers to throw off the school system, to learn to think for themselves and to feel what it is like to stand on their own two feet. These are important tools for those getting ready to pursue artistic studies. Students are given time and space to wander around by themselves for a while.
In addition, they go through a joint day training program that focuses heavily on cardiovascular training, strength & agility and further development of their circus discipline. In addition to their day commitment, they continue to participate in classes in the Circusstroom-program.

Basic rate: 700 euro
Discount: 490 euro
(excluding 30 euros membership fee)
At Ell Circo D’ell Fuego, you receive a 30% discount on all classes if you are entitled to the status of Verhoogde Tegemoetkoming. If you are in possession of the appropriate documents you can check the “VT status” option in our enrollment module. The discount will be settled in the payment message at the end of your registration. Please contact your health insurance fund to review the requirements for Verhoogde Tegemoetkoming status and apply for it.
You can also combine this discount with other discounts from the City of Antwerp (A-kaart with the right to kansentarief) and the health insurance fund (everyone). Finally, Ell Circo D’ell Fuego is recognized as a youth work initiative. As a result, all students under 12 will automatically receive a tax certificate for child care that you can charge to your tax return.
