ECDF is building a safe circus community. We have a SAFE TEAM to help us out with that. Find out how we are committed to safety in 1001 ways.
Did an accident happen during circus class or training? Ah, too bad. The trainer will give you a certificate you have to take with you when you visit the doctor. Please fill out our online reporting tool immediately after your doctor’s visit. We will contact you as soon as possible to go over the next steps. We use the data you provide us with to monitor and – where necessary – adjust our safety policy.
Take me to the online reporting toolCircus accidents are quite specific. Which is why they require a specific First Aid policy. Within Ell Circo D’ell Fuego, Inne Wim Verheyen develop our First Aid Policy in a Circus Setting. Find out all about it.
The Integrity Contact Person (ICP) is the first point of contact for anyone who has a question, comment, complaint or other message related to transgressive behavior, such as bullying or discrimination, and physical and sexual integrity. The ICP listens to your question or story and handles your report in confidence. He/she refers you to the right instances if necessary or provides you with advice on possible next steps.

ECDF’s SAFE team is a cheerful, slightly pleasantly disturbed, gang building a safe circus community from within ECDF. Every two months, SAFE team members meet to discuss important safety topics and create new inventive ideas.
Every year we have our circus equipment officially inspected by Aca vzw. The inspection is a quality control and an important basis for the safety of our acrobats.
