About the Acro-bad format
Would you like to do a somersault off your dresser and dive under the covers in your bed? Then it’s high time to come and get your armpits wet in our Acro-Bad. Acro-bad classes are rather technical classes and revolve around building a solid foundation. We expect dedication and commitment in our Acro pool! The trainers are working to strengthen the students’ intrinsic motivation. They insist that the sequence of preparatory exercises be thoroughly completed. There is still no shortcut to becoming a succesful acrobat… Oh dear!
In this lively foam bath, we lay the broadest possible foundation of movements and physical skills. We also work on fostering respect among the students—for themselves and for the other acrobats.
Because they work hard together, sweat together, and occasionally struggle together, the acrobats form a bond and develop a desire to continue growing and improving.
New for the 2026–2027 school year
Starting next school year, we’ll be making a few changes to our Acro-bad classes. Here’s a quick overview:
- n the Acro-Bad class on Mondays, we focus on teeterboard, partner acrobatics and general acrobatics (ages 12 and up)
- In the Acro-bad class on Wednesdays, floor acrobatics and jump exercises are still the focus (ages 12 and up)
- On Thursday, we’re offering a new Acro-Bad class focused on aerial acrobatics (ages 12 and up)
- The Acro-bad class on Friday also focuses on floor acrobatics and jumping, but is designed specifically for younger participants (ages 9 and up)
When you sign up for the first time, we’ll first check with your current trainer to see if you’re ready for this. Then we’ll verify that you’re actually signed up for two classes. Only then can we confirm your registration.
