About Ell Spectaculo
Ell Spectaculo? What’s that? Well, last year you all decided—more or less democratically—that this would be the new name for what was formerly know as the Eindshow! Because at the end of the year, it’s time to show what we’ve all learned. Young and old come together on stage to put on a spectacular show. This year, it’s happening again at SPRK during Pentecost weekend on Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25.
We’re putting on a total of seven spectacular shows. Each show features a mix of what happens in our circus classes week after week: different age groups, different techniques. In between acts, we’re also featuring short performances by young artists from our Springplank program and our Circusstroom.
Be sure to check out the lineup!
Watch out! Not all students will participate in every show, and students who take multiple classes may appear in multiple shows. For each show, we’ve compiled a list of the classes (class name, location, and scheduled time) that will be performing. So be sure to check the lineup carefully and make a note of which shows you definitely don’t want to miss.
The one and only Ell Spectaculo lineup
Students performing in a show do not need a ticket to attend their own performance. However, if they also attend the show as audience members, they will need a ticket.
Here’s how to order tickets
Now that you’ve checked out the lineup, you know which show you or your favorite acrobat will be performing in. Ticket sales will begin at the end of April.
Good to know:
- You purchase one ticket per attendee, which allows you to attend multiple shows. However, you must specify which show each person will attend.
- Performers who are performing in their own show do not need a ticket for that show. However, if they wish to attend another show before or after, they will need a ticket.
Here’s an example: your son is performing in Show 2 and your daughter in Show 7. You buy a ticket for everyone in your party and then specify who will be in the audience for which show. For example, your daughter will be in the audience for Show 2 and your son for Show 7.
Important information for artists
- Your trainer will be waiting for you at the artists’ entrance near 14 Appelstraat half an hour before the show starts.
- If you’re taking multiple classes, you might perform in several shows. So be sure to check out the full lineup!
