About our Circusstroom formula

Circusstroom students are between the ages of 12 and 18 years old. They train at least 6 hours a week. After all, they want to find out if a professional circus career is something for them to pursue. That or they just can’t get enough of it. In this fast-paced component, they will also create performances. This journey takes 3 to 7 years. The students of Les enfants perdus are already part of an ongoing trajectory.

Creation & Technique

Within Circusstroom, we view the creative component as a form of inner development and enrichment. The inate potential of every student is brought out, stimulated and challenged. Our young students are given the confidence and time to develop at their own pace. In addition, we encourage them to find their own ways of performing their technique. This serves as a base with which they can identify within the circus community, in further studies and in their later lives.

The trainer closely follows the personal development of each student. That is Important to prevent injuries, for example, or to find the right timing for the next step in the student’s circus development.
