About our Specialization Class Cyr Wheel
In the Cyr Wheel specialization class, you have to dare to keep spinning. The Cyr Wheel, or Roue cyr, is an acrobatic apparatus consisting of a single large ring. It owes its name to Daniel Cyr, who reinvented it as a circus apparatus at the end of the 20th century.
Using the Cyr Wheel, you will need to combine a diverse set of skills. It is a mix of object manipulation, balance and acrobatics. Do you feel like developing and training these skills? And would you like to to turn the world around every once in a while? Then this class is right up your alley!
What do I bring with me to class?
Loose, athletic attire with pants without zippers or buttons and gymnastics shoes (flexible sole). Watch out! You will be sweating during class. So be sure to bring a water bottle!
You don’t need to bring your own wheel; there are plenty available for the class.
Want to take a trial class?
