During MAD Convention, Compagnie Rasposo takes you behind the scenes of their musical process. A unique workshop experience centered around music and movement.

Compagnie Rasposo will not only be performing on stage at MAD Festival in April — they will also take you behind the scenes of their musical process. During MAD Convention, they will offer a unique workshop experience combining music and movement.

How does it work?

A dancer from Compagnie Rasposo develops a choreography that is filmed. Musical convention attendees then set to work composing music to accompany the movements. You do this live, together with Benoît Segui or Claire Mevel from Compagnie Rasposo and five other participants.

You can choose between two workshop times:

🎵 Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. – Music/Composing to Movement Workshop

🎵 Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. – Music/Composing to Movement Workshop

On Saturday at 11:00 a.m., there will also be a dance workshop where other convention participants will learn the choreography to the music created on Friday and Saturday. If you participate in one of the music workshops, you are also expected to attend.

For whom?

You are an acrobat with some musical knowledge, and you want to bring these two worlds together during MAD Convention. Do you have an instrument that is easy to bring to the Convention? Be sure to bring it along. We will make sure it can be stored safely when you are not making music.

PLEASE NOTE! To participate in this workshop, you need a weekend ticket for MAD Convention.

Sign up for the workshop?

Send an email to info@ecdf.be with your name, preferred date, and which instrument you play (Friday or Saturday morning). Maximum of 6 participants per session. Registration is open until March 19.
