Technique innovation

Ell Circo D'ell Fuego is a catalyst for circus technique innovation in Flanders. Earlier we cultivated techniques such as Chinese mast and bascule. . Both techniques have become indispensable. Even today we continue to innovate and experiment.

Learn to fly!

In 2017, ECDF had the first Flying trapeze (petit volant) built in Flanders. With our installation, we tour the country to give workshops at festivals and other events. We also regularly organize Flying trapeze courses for children, teenagers and adults.

In 2019, we started up weekly classes around the discipline. With success. Today we are talking about 5 series of classes that are so popular that they are usually completely booked after a few hours.

In 2023 we plan to build a large Flying trapeze installation (grand volant). Secretly we dream of a new generation of Flemish flying trapeze artists on international stages.

Hoop Hoop!

Hoop diving is another technique that we are constantly developing. With it, we are bringing an old circus discipline back to life. Within the walls of our training halls, young people are currently experimenting extensively with this technique, which requires solid floor acrobatics.

Trampoline 2.0

In 2021, we built a trampoline wall in our training hall in SPRK. Trainers received refresher trainings so that they can safely practice this spectacular technique with their students. In addition, the trampoline wall is an absolute attraction for professional performers.
