A queen: shaky, insecure, arrogant and stylish. She is a pop star, dressed in stuffed toys. Fragile and glamorous. An endearing and comical tightrope walker. A singer with discordant tone.
She uses tightrope dancing, 100 costumes, glitter ánd singing to hide herself. Throughout the performance, she balances – quite literally – between the reflex to protect herself and the desire to show herself fully.

Sien Van Acker grew up in Leuven and studied at Le Lido, the circus college in Toulouse. Her main discipline is tightrope walking combined with clowning. She designs her own costumes that are a prominent part of her work.
