After three consecutive corona cancellations, April 2023 is FINALLY the time. From April 13 to 16, MAD Festival will bring today’s most exciting circus to Antwerp.
 

About MAD Convention

 

With MAD Convention, we shine the spotlight on the hard work that goes on behind the circus scenes. Falling down and getting up again. Trying the same movement a thousand times. Hours and days of training to shine for about 15 minutes; that’s what makes circus fascinating!

We let that incredible drive live from April 14 to 16 in and around Ell Circo D’ell Fuego’s training room in Park Spoor Noord. There we bring together Flemish and international artists and students for a wide range of workshops. We roll out our mats and let the sweat talk.

What?

3-day circus convention with workshops, performances and catering.

For whom?

For young acrobats (from 10 years old), for circus workshops and for (semi) professionals.

For our youngest members – ages 10 and up – we provide guidance. Their parents will drop them off at SPRK at 8:30 in the morning and can pick them up there again at 5 p.m. in the evening and then head to MAD Festival together.
